Did you know that the babies have more bones than the adults?

Did they ever realize the flexibility that the babies have, of how they double and are capable of absorbing the fingers of his feet without realizing any effort?

There is a reason for which they can do it and we not, the fact is that they have a big quantity of flexible bones and cartilages, and also they have more bones than the adults.

The babies are born with 300 bones in his small bodies and as the time happens and they are growing some of these bones ossify or fuse between themselves creating new bones of major size.

The ossification process does that the calcium that settles in the cartilages is transforming it into a firm bone.

A good example of the ossification is the one that takes place in the head. When the babies are born they do not have the 'sealed' bones of his skull it is in this place in which there is the fontanela, which between two and six years of life will close.
